- This collection consists of one document, a deed transferring land and one half of a line of stone fence, for the sum of $75, in Hamilton, Loudoun County, Virginia from L[orenzo] Dow and Annie Hess to Israel Warner. The document is notarized by Wm. McCray, Justice of the Peace, 7 July 1875. The land transferred was part of the bed of the old County Road leading from Hamilton depot to Beans Mill.

Israel Warner (1796-1887), a son of George Warner, Sr. (ca. 1760-1847) and Sarah Schumachern (Shoemaker) (1764-1831) resided in Loudoun County and owned and operated Pleasant View Farm.
L[orenzo] Dow Hess and Annie R. McFarland, a widow, were married 15 December 1869 in Loudoun County. L. Dow Hess (ca. 1828-1893) and Annie R. McFarland Hess (ca. 1849-1915) are buried in Lakeview Cemetery, Hamilton, Loudoun County, Virginia.
William McCray (1818-1894) was a farmer in Hamilton, Loudoun County, Virginia. He married Elizabeth Hatcher (1814-1890), a widow, in 1846. William and Elizabeth McCray are buried in the Goose Creek Burying Ground, Lincoln, Loudoun County, Virginia.
