Produced for the program E17: ZINES at Transformer Gallery (Washington, D.C.). E17: Zines was the 17th year of Transformer's Exercises for Emerging Artists program, an annual peer critique and mentorship program for D.C.-based emerging artists. The program was led by Christopher Kardambikis (Assistant Professor of Art, GMU ) with coordination by Katie Lee, and featured artists interested in zines and DIY publishing: Ayana Zaire Cotton, Athena Naylor, Late Comeback Press (Caroline Kim & Rachna Soun), Evyan Roberts, Jennifer Lillis, and Julie Sheah.
