Background

Scope and content:

This collection includes programs, choreography, and other documents of the Catalina's syncronized swim team at Longwood.

This file includes the constitution of the Catalinas from the 1980s, as well as roster informaiton and other general information about the club.

This file includes handwritten choreogrpahy for water shows, each created by a student in the Catalinas club. It is unknown which years these performance would have been held and they look to be from several different years.

Biographical / historical:

In 1979, the synchronized swimming team was renamed from the H2O club to the Catalinas. The group existed untill the mid 1990s, and they would put on water shows for Oktoberfest, Christmas and during the Spring.

It is unknown when this collection was aquired by the Greenwood Library Archives.
