These scrapbooks date from 1928 to 1935, and contain photographs, ephemera, and newspaper clippings that relate to athletics, (mainly field hockey, basketball, volleyball, and tennis) and the Athletic Association. Additionally, the scrapbooks document campus events such as commencement, Circus, and May Day.
This scrapbook contains content relating to athletics at then State Teachers College, including field hockey, basketball, volleyball, and tennis. The origins of these scrapbooks is unknown. In August 2010 they were removed from the Health, Athletics, Recreation, and Kinesiology Department by Dr. Carl Riden and Dr. Naomi Johnson-Tsigaridas, then Co-Directors of Women and Gender Studies. They were subsequently transferred to the Greenwood Library Archives.

The scrapbook includes items on both the front and back pages, though some pages are one sided. Page numbers only represent pages with items attached which disrupt the actual page count. The formatting of the page numbers in this scrapbook is "3/page #", for example; the front of the first page is numbered "3/1" and the back of the first page is numbered "3/2".
