The Luz Maria Beristain Diaz Architectural Papers consist of Beristain Diaz's Master's Thesis in Restoration of Monuments entitled "Restoration of the Barrio de Tizapan Historical Center, Mexico City." The thesis was presented at the 11th International Congress of Women Architects, in 1996.

Luz Maria Beristain Diaz is a member of the Faculty of Architecture at the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico, Division de Postgrado.
