Helga Plumb born in Bruck/Mur, Austria in 1939, graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor in Architecture in 1963 and a Masters of Architecture in Urban Design in 1967. She was a partner of the Dubois Plumb Partnership, an architectural firm in Toronto, Canada from1979-1993. She served as design critic at various schools of architecture in Canada and the United States, and is a Fellow of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada. Some of her notable projects include Grand River Cable Television in Ontario, Tom Longboat Junior School in Ontario and the Souris Hospital in Nova Scotia.

- The Helga Plumb Architectural Collection was donated to the International Archive of Women in Architecture at the Special Collections in 1994 and 1995.
