Abstract:
A gold square shaped frame with a light green matting. Held in the center of the frame with three clear plastic prongs is a small plate, around the size of a tea cup saucer. The plate has a light pink boarder with a repeating floral motif in gold. A light green boarder is inside of the pink boarder. The center of the plate has an image of the Science Hall with grass infront and a blue sky behind.

Background

Scope and content:

A gold square shaped frame with a light green matting. Held in the center of the frame with three clear plastic prongs is a small plate, around the size of a tea cup saucer. The plate has a light pink boarder with a repeating floral motif in gold. A light green boarder is inside of the pink boarder. The center of the plate has an image of the Science Hall with grass infront and a blue sky behind. A maroon ring is around this image. Text below the building reads "SCIENCE HALL, V.P.I., BLACKSBURG VA." The frame is in good condition, minor scrapes near the corners. The plate is also in good condition, some loss of color/discoloration around the image of the Science Hall. A label on the backside of the frame reads "frame works gallery 511 State Street Bristol, VA 24201 Telephone 703/466-6329." Hand written in pen on the label is "SIW JAN 1987." Above the label is a wire for hanging.
