This collection includes a large VPI shot glass with the university seal in maroon and orange on the front. On the back side of the shot glass are four lines in orange with Virginia sports team names. The following names are listed: Hokies, Mountianeers, VMI Keydets, and Cavaliers.

Background

Scope and content:

This collection includes a large VPI shot glass with the university seal in maroon and orange on the front. Underneath the seal are the words "Virginia Polytechnic Institute." On the back side of the shot glass are four lines in orange with Virginia sports team names. The following names are listed: Hokies, Mountianeers, VMI Keydets, and Cavaliers. On the side of the shot glass is the orginal price sticker from the University Bookstore at Virginia Tech.

Acquisition information:
The collection was acquired by Special Collection and University Archives prior to 2016.
Processing information:

The processing, arrangement, and description of the VPI Shot Glass was completed in June 2025.
