The Southern Presbyterian Scrapbook is a 1957 House of Representatives Report on the Commercial Relations of the United States used as a scrapbook to hold a collection of newspaper clippings from the Southern Presbyterian, assumed to be from around mid to late 19th century. The subjects of the clippings primarily include opinions of religion and faith, such as different forms of Christianity and interpretations of the Bible.

The Southern Presbyterian Scrapbook is a 1957 House of Representatives Report on the Commercial Relations of the United States used as a scrapbook to hold a collection of newspaper clippings from the Southern Presbyterian, assumed to be from around mid to late 19th century. The subjects of the clippings primarily include opinions of religion and faith, such as different forms of Christianity and interpretations of the Bible.

Biographical / historical:

The Southern Presbyterian was a weekly newspaper published from 1847 to 1908 in Milledgeville and Augusta, Georgia, as well as Charleston, Colombia, and Clinton, South Carolina. It had various publishers including James Woodrow and the Presbyterian Publishing Company. The newspaper was merged with the Central Presbyterian of Richmond and the South-Western Presbyterian of New Orleans in 1909 to form the Presbyterian of the South.
