The Elizabeth C. Harrison Correspondence is a collection of letters written and sent to Harrison, from 1910 to 1918, in Virginia, from various friends and family. The subjects of the letters include appreciation of Harrison's friendship, opinions of faith and religion, and updates such as illnesses, schooling, and family.

Biographical / historical:

Elizabeth Cunningham Harrison Goddard (1888-1960), or referred to as "Lila", "Lilie", "Lida", or "Eliza" in the correspondence, was a resident of Tunstall and Talleysville, Virginia, both located in New Kent County, as well as Washington D.C.. She married Calvin H. Goddard (1891-1955) on August 3, 1915, and their children include Mary and Eliza.
