The Joseph B. Mills Log Book contains his track of runs and hours worked each day, including locations while working for the Roanoke Railway and Electric Company in Roanoke, Virginia. Mills also maintained a list of personal expenses in the book.

Biographical / historical:

Joseph B. Mills (1876-1959), served as a motor man for the Roanoke Railway and Electric Company. Mills was married to Fannie L. Price, and they had one son, Joseph Dexter Mills. He is listed as a motorman for the street car company on the 1910 Census.
