The Morrison Stock and First National Bank Ledger includes lists of stock holders, stock transfers, and various stock related transactions, probably made by G. A. Morrison in Virginia. It also includes a number of pages tracking bills and expenses. Some of the content relates to a "First National Bank", but it is unclear if this bank is in Roanoke or elsewhere.

Biographical / historical:

The Morrison Stock and First National Bank Ledger appears to have been kept by a G. A. Morrison who was a stock broker in late 18th and early 19th century Virginia. No other information could be found.

The Morrison Stock and First National Bank Ledger was purchased by Special Collections and University Archives in July 2014.
