This collection contains papers from the Thompson family, largely S.A. Thompson, who was a lawyer, U.S. Commissioner, and Virginia Delegate. He resided in Stuart, Virginia. Papers date from 1899-1930. Papers include financial records such as accounts, checks, bills, and tax documents, legal records such as land surveys, agreements, and court summons, and correspondence.
