Background

Scope and content:

This is a recipe book from the early 20th century. Recipes ranged from baked goods, pickling, and basic desserts. Some are Potato Buns, Creme Puffs, Watermelon Pickles, and Corn Pone. The book also included recipes for cleaning supplies, such as cold soap.

Acquisition information:
This collection was donated to Special Collections in 2015.
Processing information:

The processing, arrangement, and description of Handwritten Receipt Book was completed in September 2021. Additional description was completed in July 2022.
