The collection contains items which belonged to Harold C. Cox. Cox was a student at Virginia Agricultural and Mechanical College and Polytechnic Institute between 1922 and 1926. In 1926, Cox graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. The collection contains grade reports, Cox's diploma, certificates, and alumni memorabilia.

Harold C. Cox was a student at Virginia Agricultural and Mechanical College and Polytechnic Institute between 1922-1926. He was a Member of Phi Kappa Phi and the American Society of Engineers during his time at Virginia Tech. After Graduation, Cox worked at Bethlehem Steel for forty-one years and retired in 1967. Cox also was active in alumni events through the 1980s.
