The collection consists of one program from the performance "The Confederacy"--a play "based on the life of Robert E. Lee." Samuel Selden and The Tidewater Historic Drama Association are listed as director and producers, respectively. The program further details the play, cast and staff.

Biographical / historical:

"The Confederacy" opened on July 1, 1958 at the Robert E. Lee Amphitheater in Virginia Beach, Va. The play, based on the life of Robert E. Lee, ran till the summer of 1959.
