Scope and content:

Born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, Chestnutt received her Master of Architecture degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 1981. In 1983 she moved to Berlin and by 1988 Chestnutt started her firm with Robert Niess, a colleague from Virginia Tech. The collection includes a copy of the catalog, The History of Air 1988-2000, showing three of their buildings. Inventory available.
