Scope and content:

Bachelor degree from Vassar in 1948, master's degree from Illinois Institute of Technology in 1968. Worked on the Seagram Building with Mies van der Rohe. Founder in 1979 and director until 1999 of the Canadian Center for Architecture/Centre Canadian d'Architecture. Lambert was the consulting architect to Peter Rose for the CCA building project, 1984-1989. In addition to directing the CCA, she won recognition for both her original designs and her restoration work. The collection contains a biography outlining Lambert's career and a notice about her receiving the National Building Museum's 2006 Scully Prize.
