This series includes statements of accounts for the Inspector of Boats, Inspector of the Locks, and articles sold.

Biographical / historical:

On 25 February 1818 the General Assembly amended the act for regulating navigation on the James. Tolls were paid to the inspectors of boats at the canal locks; each inspector sent a statement of his collections to the auditor of public accounts.
