Ledgers, 1842-1844 and 1852-1853, of W. H. Jordan (ca. 1806-1865), merchant of Isle of Wight County, Virginia, containing accounts for the purchase of dry-goods, groceries, shoes, and textiles.

Biographical / historical:

W. H. Jordan was a merchant in Smithfield, Isle of Wight County, Virginia. He and his wife Mary B. Jordan had at least three children. Jordan died 17 December 1865.
