Background
- Scope and content:
-
Minutes and related attachments documenting the meetings, activities, discussions, policy decisions, and recommendations of the Virginia Board for Contractors. Includes official board minutes, as well committee meeting minutes, agendas and other meeting materials. May also include minutes of informal fact finding conferences related to citizen complaints. May also include informal fact finding hearing minutes, correspondence, legislation, regulations, reports and Virginia Contractor Transaction Recovery Act Fund financial statements.
Electronic records often contain board meeting packets with various attachments and draft minutes, while paper records often include minutes only. There may be some duplication between paper and electronic records. For transfers prior to 2012, records of individual boards were accessioned separately. After this, transfers of records (records starting in 2008) included all boards, which were accessioned under one accession number. There is a separate finding aid for the later transfers.
