Wythe County Judgment (Writ of Habeas Corpus), Dec. 1864. Consists of a writ of habeas corpus from the case Leroy Spencer vs. S. Tubman, Enrollment Officer of Carroll County, ordering Spencer, age 48, be taken into custody of the military reserves corps of the Confederate States of America.

Biographical / historical:

Wythe County was formed in 1789 from Montgomery County. Part of Grayson County was added in 1825.
