Wythe County (Va.) Justice of the Peace Commission, Sixth District, 1852. Consists of a commission from Governor Joseph Johnson certifying the election in the sixth district of Daniel Brown, Lewis D. Hancock, Rufus Brown, and Wayman Lambert Justices of the Peace for Wythe County.

Biographical / historical:

Wythe County was formed in 1789 from Montgomery County. Part of Grayson County was added in 1825.
