Fincastle County (Va.) Capias, 1774. Consists of an order to the sheriff of Fincastle County to take John Blevins into custody to answer William Cocke on a plea of trespass.

Biographical / historical:

Fincastle County was formed in 1772 from Botetourt County. It became extinct in 1776 when it was divided to form Montgomery, Washington, and Kentucky (now the state of Kentucky) Counties.
