These genealogical research files are not related to Margaret Scoggins' family line, but rather are other Scoggins family materials uncovered during research.
Series I. Family group sheets. Consists of family group sheets and correspondence filed alphabetically by first name of the Scoggins descendant.
Series II. Research materials. Consists of research materials copied and sorted by state (North and South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia) or country (England). Includes copies of birth and census records, clippings, deeds, estate inventories, genealogical notes, marriage and military records, publications, and wills.
