Biographical / historical:

When Shirley W. Camp moved to Falls Church in 1978, she already had experience as a research historian and had published a collection of family stories entitled "Our Parents."

In Falls Church, Shirley served on the Board of Directors of The Friends of Cherry Hill Foundation, was a member of the Falls Church Historical Commission, and in 1987, she began to research materials about Cherry Hill Farm.

In 1997, Shirley W. Camp published the book "Past Times Around Falls Church." In 2009 she finished Land Tax Assessments for some Fairfax County, Virginia residents in Falls Church and the surrounding area.
