Collection dates to between ca. 1900 and 1943. It contains mixed materials, primarily school information for Allen Lee Cook from St. Luke and Woodstock Schools as well as photographs related to the Wright and Hottel families, of which Margaret Cook was descended. The materials are contained within one, 1/2 size, flip top legal document box with a total of twenty one (21) folders.
- Biographical / historical:

Allen Cook was born May 6, 1928 in St. Luke Virginia. He attended St. Luke School and later Woodstock High School. Margaret (Wright) Cook was born in 1938. She and Allen were married 50 years at the time of his death in 2012.
- Acquisition information:
- Purchased at auction April 23, 2026. Laughlin Auction Sale 523 "Shenandoah County Estates: Cook and Bowers" lots 1192, 1193, and 1195.
- Processing information:

Items were received in auction lot boxes. It is uncertain if the items had been sorted originally by owners or by auction company for sale. Documents were foldered and all fastners removed. Folders labeled based on the subject of the documents contained within and dates provided based on dates present on written materials. Photographs were sleeved and placed in folders. Labels and dates for those folders were created based on photograph labels if present.
