- Biographical / historical:

Bethany Lutheran Church was organized by Reverend Henry Wetzel in 1870 and the building was constructed in 1873 on land donated by Daniel Brumback. The 55 original members of the congregation included members of the Brumback, Bowers, Miller, Spitler, Hottel, Barb, Fadely, and Sager families. The inside of the building is well maintained with original materials. Pastor William R. Ballance has offered monthly services since 1988.
- Acquisition information:
- One photograph of the church was donated by Evelyn Poland, a church trustee, in 2024. The other items were donated by Theresea Hall, Evelyn Poland's niece, in 2024.
