Biographical / historical:

Lemuel Bruce Wolfe (1875-1956) of Mt. Jackson was the son of Charles and Sarah Filtzmoyer Wolfe. He married Effie Rebecca Zirkle in 1900 and they had three children: Lena, Warren, and Evelyn Wolfe.

Acquisition information:
Purchased from Laughlin Auctions in February 2022.
Processing information:

No original order. Received in a cardboard box. Items were wrapped, labeled, and boxed.

Arrangement:

Bank books are arranged with the larger books on the bottom and smaller ones on top in the box. The finding aid is arranged chronologically.
