Cravens regarding the timber management practices of the Monongahela National Forest and the effect of those practices on the health of the forest. Cravens was the current Regional Forester. This material was compiled in the wake of the "Monongahela Decision" court case. The court found that current timber practices were in violation of the law and therefore restricted planned timbering of the forest.
