Includes photocopies of records documenting births, marriages, deaths, and military service (including pension records), most dating from the early 19th century. A copy of the section ("The Ashcrafts") from the "History of Worthington, West Virginia and Surrounding Communities" is included in the collection. There is also an excerpt from "West Virginians in the Revolutionary War" (No. 1, 1959) that lists Ashcraft (Ashcroft) family members' service information.
