      <head>Biographical Note</head>
      <p>Louis E. Catron was a professor of Theatre and Speech at William and Mary from 1966-2002 and Director of the William and Mary Theatre. He holds a Ph.D. from Southern Illinois University, and is the author of several plays and books on playwriting.</p>
