<p>Gamma Phi Beta is a soroity with the mission to build confident women of character who celebrate sisterhood and make a difference in the world around us. The sorority's vision is to inspire the highest type of womanhood.The Alpha Chi Chapter of Gamma Phi Beta was installed at William &amp; Mary in 1934.</p>  </bioghist>

    <head>Content Description</head>
<p>Collection includes materials documenting the daily activities of Gamma Phi Beta (Alpha Chi Chapter). Materials include pages from a scrapbook that contain  stereotypical caricatures of east Asian and Native American people as well as derogatory language regarding race, gender, sexual orientation, and ethnicity. Collection also includes photographs of culturally insensitive events held in Sorority Court.</p>  </scopecontent>
