    <head>Biographical / Historical</head>
<p>Lawrence Washington (1791-1875) was a farmer at "Oak Grove," Westmoreland County, Virginia. He and his wife Sarah Tayloe Washington were the parents of eleven children including Henry Augustine Washington who was a professor at the College of Willian &amp; Mary.</p>  </bioghist>
