Business records, 1932 and 1943-1946 (bullk), of William J. Shelton General Merchandise in Lovingston, Nelson County, Virginia. The majority of the records consist of mailings to William Shelton by various district offices of the U.S. Office of Price Administration (OPA). Examples are the Lovingston War Price and Rationing Board in Lovingston, Virginia, the Roanoke District Office, or the Georgia Office. Some of the topics of the bulletins and circulars include instructions for rationing, pricing and coupon distribution.
