The drawing consists of four sheets of paper, overlaid and attached together.</p><p>The drawing depicts William &amp; Mary's Historic Campus, including the Brafferton, Wren Building, and President's House. Also featured is the original Lord Botetourt statue with fencing surrounding it. It is likely that this early wash drawing served as an inspiration for the lithograph of William &amp; Mary's Historic Campus, commonly known as the "Millington print."</p><p>This drawing was transferred from the University Archives Artifact Collection (UA 13) to the Thomas Millington Collection (MS 00306) on July 29, 2019.</p></scopecontent><relatedmaterial id="aspace_e1d4cf4411d719d75090857bb2a36394"><head>Related Materials</head><p>This drawing was transferred from the University Archives Artifact Collection (UA 13) to the Thomas Millington Collection (MS 00306) on July 29, 2019.</p></relatedmaterial></c><c id="aspace_bc24220f2104ea1e83d0986eb1182433" level="file"><did><unittitle>Palace Green watercolor painting</unittitle><unitid type="aspace_uri">/repositories/2/archival_objects/375886</unitid><unitdate datechar="creation">circa 1840</unitdate><physdesc><dimensions id="aspace_d7fbab91f33f14f20dd7733fd47613ae">Approximately 15 x 10.5 inches.</dimensions></physdesc><container altrender="Oversize Box - 24 x 3 x 36" id="aspace_0eb2945f55d975f752215ad94116c29a" label="Mixed Materials" type="Box">1</container><container id="aspace_259fbe3f8b2bb1b35072f61870fcb53c" parent="aspace_0eb2945f55d975f752215ad94116c29a" type="Folder">2</container></did><scopecontent id="aspace_00812396178225abbd28fe2934827207"><head>Scope and Contents</head><p>A painting of Colonial Williamsburg's Palace Green by Thomas Millington, circa 1840s.</p><p>This painting was originally transferred from the John Millington Papers (Mss. 65 M59, Box 7, Folder 11b) to the Manuscripts Artifact Collection (Mss. 1.03), before being transferred to the Thomas Millington Collection (MS 00306) on July 29, 2019.</p></scopecontent><relatedmaterial id="aspace_8c1c43cc2f5aa4f16687d41eb271a366"><head>Related Materials</head><p>This painting was originally transferred from the John Millington Papers (Mss. 65 M59, Box 7, Folder 11b) to the Manuscripts Artifact Collection (Mss. 1.03), before being transferred to the Thomas Millington Collection (MS 00306) on July 29, 2019.</p></relatedmaterial></c><c id="aspace_d3d17beebd1c6a9903683a7c42c23bbe" level="file"><did><unittitle>Bruton Parish Church watercolor painting</unittitle><unitid type="aspace_uri">/repositories/2/archival_objects/375887</unitid><unitdate datechar="creation" normal="1836/1836">1836</unitdate><physdesc><dimensions id="aspace_9ecc3616100b55706643998f9e0fa4f9">Approximately 10 x 14 inches.</dimensions></physdesc><container altrender="Oversize Box - 24 x 3 x 36" id="aspace_f3f41fc139db416cb11f61b32cd65750" label="Mixed Materials" type="Box">1</container><container id="aspace_789aab85348832976b5e1a5e7d51cd17" parent="aspace_f3f41fc139db416cb11f61b32cd65750" type="Folder">3</container></did><scopecontent id="aspace_f9d28bab6756d0b51107d6622d328971"><head>Scope and Contents</head><p>A painting of Bruton Parish Church, located on Duke of Gloucester Street in Colonial Williamsburg, by Thomas Millington, 1836.</p><p>This painting was transferred from the John Millington Papers (Mss. 65 M59, Box 18, Folder 11) to the Thomas Millington Collection (MS 00306) on July 29, 2019. </p></scopecontent><relatedmaterial id="aspace_9d3a9372ab80ed60ac498b83b733ea17"><head>Related Materials</head><p>This painting was transferred from the John Millington Papers (Mss. 65 M59, Box 18, Folder 11) to the Thomas Millington Collection (MS 00306) on July 29, 2019.</p></relatedmaterial></c><c id="aspace_4545e8100c23b61ae2bde83061715ecb" level="file"><did><unittitle>Reproduction of Bruton Parish Church watercolor painting</unittitle><unitid type="aspace_uri">/repositories/2/archival_objects/375888</unitid><unitdate datechar="creation">undated</unitdate><physdesc><dimensions id="aspace_c45b02c1eabb38dfbdeb760bd0803d8a">Approximately 10 x 14 inches.</dimensions></physdesc><container altrender="Oversize Box - 24 x 3 x 36" id="aspace_f5c33517dd03cc463abb516926d07bf5" label="Mixed Materials" type="Box">1</container><container id="aspace_b92ca779b2e0949d222040cd75c3054c" parent="aspace_f5c33517dd03cc463abb516926d07bf5" type="Folder">11</container></did><scopecontent id="aspace_cce66350430a4514fe350f4a17a6ed97"><head>Scope and Contents</head><p>A reproduction of Thomas Millington's original watercolor painting of Bruton Parish Church, located on Duke of Gloucester Street in Colonial Williamsburg.
