Scope and Contents

Photograph Album containing 191 black and white photographs of a trip taken by Mr. and Mrs. Lewis S. Porter. Their trip was on board the M.V. Georgic run by the Cunard White Star Line from New York. The trip visited ports in St. Thomas, St. Pierre, Martinique, Trinidad, Port of Spain, Grenada, Caracas, Curacao, Cartagena, Columbia, Panama, the Panama Canal, Jamaica, and Havana. Pictures show the Porter's on board the vessel, at dinner, on the "sport" deck, and on excursions. There are multiple pictures of natives of the various areas they visited, home, street views, markets, and diving boys, which seemed to be a big attraction at many ports.
 </scopecontent>
