Mary Hurley Mackey Sainsbury, class of 1939, was a student at William & Mary beginning in 1935. Sainsbury was a member of the sorority Pi Beta Phi and soccer team, and participated in other activities and organizations.

Sainsbury's Olde Guarde medal, Sir Robert Boyle Society pin, Pi Beta Phi pin, other pins, a William and Mary monogram patch, and a Manager patch were separated from this collection and added to the University Archives Artifact Collection (UA 8) on July 21, 2009.
