    <head>Scope and Contents</head>
<p>This collection contains memos regarding the start up of <emph render="italic">Seminar</emph>, a literary journal published by the College of William and Mary.  The <emph render="italic">Seminar </emph>was first published in 1956 and ran until 1962, when it was merged with another literary journal, the <emph render="italic">Royalist. </emph> The <emph render="italic">Royalist </emph>in time merged into the present-day <emph render="italic">William and Mary Review</emph>.</p><p> Copies of The Royalist literary magazine 1937-1962  in Swem Library's microforms area, 1 reel, call number  LH1 .W54 R68</p><p> Copies of  Seminar literary magazine 1956-1962  in Swem Library's microforms area, 1 reel, call number  LH1 .W54  S45</p>  </scopecontent>
