<p>George Harding Foster was a Professor of English from 1947 to 1959 at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia, with a brief time as a writer at the Disney Studio in the 1950's.</p>  </bioghist>

<p>This collection consists of a letter from Foster to his former student, Harrison B. Kinney, around 1950 describing his brief tenure as a writer for the Disney studio, including the workings of the studio and the personality and leadership of Walt Disney.</p>  </scopecontent>
