Henry Donald Campbell was an important figure at the univesity from 1882-1934, holding positions of professor of chemistry, geology, and biology, university historian, dean, and acting president.
This collection consists of letters written to Henry Donald Campbell, mostly from his colleagues at Washington and Lee University when he was on a leave of absence from the university.
