    <head>Biographical / Historical</head>
<p>Frederick Madison Moyer was born in 1923 in Edinburg, Virginia. He graduated VMI in 1945 and is in the VMI Sports Hall of Fame for wrestling. From 1943 to 1946 he was a Captain in the United States Army and then was a businessman in Staunton, Virginia. Moyer died in 1974 in Staunton.</p>  </bioghist>
