From UVA MSS 7014 finding aid: "A diary, 1831-1833, of Ethelbert Algernon Coleman kept while a student at the University of Virginia medical school, 1831-1832, and the University of Pennsylvania medical school, 1832-1833, describes student life, studies, Robley Dunglison, and visits with John Randolph of Roanoke and Thomas Jefferson Randolph; a typescript copy of the diary has genealogical data at end."
