The contents of this collection were purchased by the Virginia Tech Special Collections and Archives in April of 2020.
The processing, arrangement, and description of the Cash Bargain House Price List was completed in November 2025.
The collection consists of a single, undated, typed price list for Cash Bargain House; a retailer located in Cifax Virginia. The document consists of typed lists of goods the business offered, along with handwritten prices for each good. The goods listsed include both non-food goods such as textiles and finished garments as well as dry goods, poultry, dairy, and fruit. The document also includes a list of suppliers for the business.
