The Manuscript Recipe Book was purchased by Special Collections and University Archives in February 2015.
The processing, arrangement, and description of the Manuscript Recipe Book was completed in July 2025.

The book includes printed, handwritten, and newspaper clip recipes. The recipes are sorted into sections, including bread, eggs, fish, and poultry. There are twenty tabs in total, each section has recipes printed onto the divider, then empty pages for room to write more, some with newspaper clips taped in.
