This collection was donated to Special Collections and University Archives in September 1975.
The processing, arrangement, and description of the Virginia Tech Plate was completed in July 2025.
White plate with a gold rim, in the center is the Virginia Tech seal in gold, black, maroon, orange, green, and various other colors that make up the details of the seal. Underneath the seal in maroon reads "Virginia Tech."
On the back of the plate is tape with archivist notes written on it, as well as a stamped logo for "Dec. American Inc."
The plate is in good condition.
