This letter was written by Bosserman and sent to a Miss A. H. Bosserman. Bosserman asks if Miss Bosserman had heard that General "Stonewall" Jackson had been killed, and then goes on from there to write about what was going on in the area where Bosserman was living.</abstract>

Bosserman asks is Miss Bosserman had heard that General "Stonewall" Jackson had been killed and the three of the Bailey boys had been wounded. Bosserman uses the rest of the letter to discuss their daily life and what had happened to them since their last letter to Miss Bosserman.</p>  </scopecontent>
