David Cloyd McGavock (d. May 1864) was a soldier in Companies B of the 24th Virginia Regiment in the Confederate Army during the American Civil War. He attended Roanoke College in 1861, then enlisted in the Confederate Army the next year.

This is likely the same man as Cloyd McGavoch, who enlisted on March 14, 1862, in New Bern, North Carolina, and served in Company E, 24th Regiment, Virginia Infantry, rising to the rank of First Sergeant. He was wounded at Drewry's Bluff, Virginia, on May 16, 1864, and died of his wounds five days later at the Chimborazo Hospital in Richmond, Virginia.
