    <head>Biographical Note</head>
<p>Robert Brooke (ca. 1751/1761-1800) was the 10th Governor of Virginia from 1794-1796 (Republican). After being governor, he became attorney general of the state. </p><p>Michael Drake was born in 1755 in Montgomery County, Virginia, and died in 1798. He married Jane Davison.  </p><p>No information is available on John Rittenhour (possibly Ridenhour).</p>  </bioghist>
