Minute book, 1942, of the Adair's Club of Brooklyn, New York. Includes details of the invitation of new members to the club, induction of new members, planning of events, and events held by the club. Events typically include card games, food, and socializing. There is also discussion of former members and their reasons for leaving the club. Meetings were usually held in the homes of various members.

Collection includes a letter from Emily Clemens Pearson to her brother, Mr. S. A. Clemons, about the North Farnham Church. The collection also includes a photograph of a sign for the North Farnham Church describing its history, and a photograph of North Farnham Church.

Collection of letters, cards, ephemera, and personal items belonging to Thomas Putnam Chapman, Jr. A large portion of the letters are written to his family from his time spent as a student at the College of William and Mary. Included with Thomas' letters are letters from his father and other family members. This collections is currently in processing and is not fully available to researchers. The collection guide will be updated once processing of the collection is complete.

The collection contains a diary of Isabel Levin--Porter's longtime friend and the trustee of her literary estate--detailing her travels to Europe in 1932. The collection also includes two books by Porter, "My Chinese Marriage" (1921) and "The Days Before" (1952), a two page letter from Katherine Anne Porter to Douglas Watson, and a postcard in the jacket of the later book. In addition, a small pamphlet, a card and air mail post card signed by Porter, a photograph of Porter, a recipe for "K.A.P.'s Fresh Vegetable Broth," and two color lobby cards can be found in the collection. Also includes the cookbook, The Artists' & Writer's Cookbook, Beryl Barr and Barbara Turner Sachs, editors (Sausalito, Calif.: Contact Editions, 1961), which has been cataloged separately and shelved in the Rare Books Collection.

This collection consists of letters from supervisors or sponsors to Minnie A. Hill, a northern female teacher, who was in Norfolk and then Petersburg, Virginia teaching at freedmen's schools in the late 1860s.

Collection contains letters primarily to and from mother and daughter Mrs. Steptoe C. Wood to Lucie Wood Saunders (1928-2008) of King William County, Virginia and New York from the 1950-1970s. Letters also include those from Lucie to an aunt and documents Lucie's travels to Egypt.

The Susan MacIntryre Hirt papers contain correspondence, notes, calendars and timelines relating to the creation of "Lizzy Named for the Queen". The papers also contain drafts of chapters from the book. The papers date from 2022-2024.
